LIVE CHAT: Toronto mayor Rob Ford ousted from office
We took your questions and comments from 6-7 p.m. live on CityNews.ca about the unprecedented developments out of city Hall

Rob Ford is a mayor for the people of Toronto, not just those people south of Bloor St. Everything he tries to do like subways for example has been an uphill battle. Thanks to the city council Toronto will have street clogging LRT's. If it were left up to left wing councillers we would have had to sit through another garbage strike and there would be nothing done for those underpriviledged people living in Toronto Housing

@Cathy Ford nation--at lest those people we've spoken to in etobicoke tonight, is still standing firmly behind the mayor and telling him to fight. A much different picture --as you would expect--downtown, where most say they are glad to see him go.

And the brother Ford to keep insisting that RF is such a good guy and is concerned about the kids...excuse me, but wasn't the Mayor the only one to vote against continuing funding breakfasts for kids...even the brother was embarrassed and donated money personally...

I think his "leadership" of the city has run its course. He seems to think he's above the law and is untouchable. Since he came into Office he's been better known for his antics rather than making T.O. a better city. His ppl can only "spin" his actions so many times. He's clearly out of touch with reality if he thinks he'll have any chance in a bi-election. I grew up in Etobicoke and don't know why so many ppl still support him. Perhaps they don't know how his decisions affects and impacts those living in Toronto-proper. It's funny to see George M. bolt after being seen as a strong supporter of Ford on council. I guess he's distancing himself and hoping for a second chance as Mayor in a bi-election. Go figure. I think I'm going to put some gravy on my dinner tonight!

If former Toronto Mayors / politicians were put under the same microscopes and had their named dragged through the mud as much as Rob Ford has, how long would they last? Are the same citizens slamming Ford going to hold future politicians to the same scrutiny that the have for Ford? What if Toronto's next Mayor does attend the pride parade and changes their view on important matters to achieve maximum appeal? Would matters such as 3 thousand dollars in donations be silently slipped under the rug?

Rob Ford et al justify his action by explaining it is for 'needy' kids. Has anyone looked at the demographic profile of the Don Bosco student body? Are they 'needy'? The school is in a nice area of Etobicoke and the building is well-kept. Is it a private or public school? Regardless, if you break the law, it doesn't matter wether it's for 'charitable' reasons.

Thank God he has finally been caught. He broke the rules, cheated the system and lied to the public of Toronto. He deserves to be thrown out - I only wish it would have meant more and they made it impossible to even run again - like impeachment. No More Ford!
Almost Done!
