Another wild day at city hall - council has voted 37-5 in favour of asking Mayor Rob Ford to take a temporary leave of absence. The vote appears to be a symbolic victory only for councillors, as there are no measures in place to forcibly remove Ford from office.

Unfair to bring in Clayton Ruby to comment on the Ford fiasco. Unlike you I could not see the halo over Clayton Ruby on my TV

I think the mayor should stay away from the parade period. He admitted to bothing smoking crack and buying it. Give us our city back.

Did anyone see Doug Ford on CNN when council went for lunch Doug Ford is on CNN trying to gain sympathy from the Americans ...really ..even the

The previous story about the city's credit rating could hardly be more misleading. If anything, Ford will have had a net-positive impact on the credit rating. Any negative impact would have been the result of Miller/McGuinty fiscal mismanagement. Stick to the facts please.

I seriously have had enough of this Rob Ford grilling leave the guy alone. I don't agree with what was done however I would still vote him again. He's been the ONLY REAL mayor who's stood up for the taxpayers time and time again. I would like to see all the councillors as well as the police have drug tests and alcohol tests too. No one gets into their private lives, authority? They are no better than any one else and let the person who themselves hasn't sinned throw the first stone! Get on with business already and turn a new page. Anyone other than Rob Ford will cause people to go further into poverty, including Mrs Stintz with further funding for the TTC. Get people who actually have money to fund you needs, like herself. Those who don't have extra change to dig in there pockets already find it difficult let alone if the fares go up. And to Mr Wong grow up. I would've done the same thing walked up to you, all you do is provoke the mayor. Ford supporter and I will continue to do so. He's had enough and I'm sure he will do what he will have to do in his private time if there weren't so many people in is face. It's a private problem not a public problem. Let him get help on his own terms.

Rob ford has been the best mayor in the last 10 years have people forgot about the millers years and the lastmen era, rob has come in as mayor and done the things he said he was going to do!
-
did anyone catch Doug Ford speaking with CNN during lunch hour trying to gain sympathy ..even the commentators were laughing .. absurb!!
